Ways to work with me

I shape engagements around the situation, not a fixed package. Sometimes that means stepping into an operating role, sometimes working alongside the leadership team, and sometimes taking responsibility for a defined piece of execution.

The form changes with the problem, but the expectation is consistent: clear responsibility, direct access and work close to the decisions that matter.

How I can be engaged

  • Interim leadership

    Where a situation needs someone to step in and carry operational accountability, I take defined leadership responsibility inside the organisation, not just recommend a course of action.

    I step into the organisation and carry the agreed accountability.

  • Senior advisory

    I work alongside the existing organisation rather than in place of it, helping leadership structure the situation, challenge assumptions and keep decisions connected to execution.

    Responsibility
    Decision authority remains with the client; I provide senior judgement, challenge and support.

  • Focused execution mandates

    I can take responsibility for one deal, one integration, one separation or one specific decision, with a clear start and end.

    I own the defined scope and delivery boundary agreed for the mandate.

  • Executive coaching & facilitation

    I work with individual executives and leadership teams where the need is a confidential space to think clearly, align and move forward.

    Responsibility
    I support reflection, alignment and decision-making; broader leadership-development programmes sit within EvolunIQ.

How engagements work

These are the general norms. Specific terms are agreed for each mandate.

Confidentiality
I work discreetly, particularly where M&A, leadership transition or sensitive organisational change is involved.
Location
I work remotely, hybrid or on site, depending on what the mandate actually needs.
Duration
From a short, focused project to a multi-month interim mandate, scoped to the situation rather than a fixed term.
Contracting

I contract directly through KC Malik Consulting & Development GmbH, or through an established interim or advisory platform where relevant.

I can also work as a subcontractor, for example to a Big Four firm, where my expertise is needed.
